Q: Are first-time homebuying orientations free?

A: Yes! All of our first-time homebuyer orientations are free and open to the public. There are no fees associated with attending. Please check our upcoming orientations and register.

Q: How much is the one on one counseling?

A: A ONE TIME fee of $75 for the one-on-one counseling includes the counseling session and credit score review for a married couple. There is an additional $25 for each credit score review or if the applicant and co-applicant aren’t married.

Q: What is the $100,000 first-time homebuyer grant?

A: This is one of many grants available to first-time homebuyers. This one is the HomeFirst Down Payment Assistance program through the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development. It is UP TO $100,000 depending on specific criteria, which can be found here.
