30 YEARS OF MEASURABLE RETURNS.
NHS of Queens has grown into a multi-program model serving 14,600 residents in 2024 and expanding further in 2025. Every dollar of donor and public support has produced measurable, public-facing returns for Queens — and for the city and state.

GROWTH TRAJECTORY
FROM RECOVERY TO SCALED IMPACT.
When the pandemic disrupted Queens in 2020, NHSQ stayed open. The years since show a service organization that has not just recovered, but scaled and diversified across every program area — even as community demand has continued to grow.

THE PUBLIC - FINANCE ARGUMENT
EVERY DOLLAR IN NHSQ PRODUCES A PUBLIC COST DOLLAR AVOIDED.
NHS of Queens has prevented an estimated $88.9 million in downstream social costs to New York City and State — costs that would otherwise fall on emergency housing, shelter, healthcare, and child-welfare systems. This is the core public-finance argument for sustaining and expanding NHSQ's capacity.
The Casita is not an organizational expansion request. It is the build-out of capacity that the existing demand has already justified — three decades of measurable, year-over-year evidence.
A HUD-certified nonprofit community development corporation serving Queens, NY. Strengthening neighborhoods and expanding access to safe, stable, affordable housing across the borough since 1994.
