First-Time Homebuyer Program

Our triage form will take some of your preliminary information so our counselor and program assistant can do an evaluation of where along the process you are at and if there are any indicators that stand out that must be addressed (i.e. low credit-score). Please complete and submit it in-person or via email.

STEP 1: Triage Form

Once a month, we host a free two-hour orientation in English and Spanish that provides you with the ABCs of the home buying process, available resources (i.e., grants), and a holistic view of who you need in your corner. Additionally, you’ll be able to get answers to your questions and information about the next steps.

STEP 2: Orientation

STEP 3: 1 on 1 Counseling

We next recommend you make an appointment to meet with our HUD-certified counselor. There is a ONE-TIME fee of $75 and will be asked copies of a list of documents. The counselor will analyze your case and determine what you can purchase, if you qualify for any grants, and next steps whether it is addressing any concerns or prepare for the next step.

Our counselor will be in your corner from beginning to end, being helping you achieve your homeownership dream. Along the way, our counselor will connect you with the resources and individuals you need. If you qualify for a grant, we’ll walk you through the process, which includes taking an online education course that has a fee of $99. Before doing so, we always recommend you speak with a counselor. When you complete the course, you’ll receive a certificate that is ONLY valid for one year.
